The wheels and deck are suprisingly of good quality. This board is perfect for a smooth ride along the beach , or just getting around the neighborhood. I would recommend this board to anyone , espcially the amateur riders. But it is kind of small so if you are tall or have big feet i would not buy this board.It is great for doing anything whether it is getting around the neighborhood or just cruising. I'm satisfied with this purchase. I used it while I lived in the dorms of my college to "quickly" get to class. It may be that I'm scared to go "fast", but I think this cruiser can't go over curbs/cracks! For example, I tried skating over a small gapping crack, and the front wheels completely locked into the crack causing me to fly off the cruiser in a superman like motion! I wasn't seriously injured, but it did put a scare on me. haha. I am a complete novice to skateboarding though. I recommend this cruiser to anyone looking for a fun time? I saw another nice cruiser somewhere here on amazon that comes with sunglasses that came out after this cruiser! I would recommend looking at that cruiser, too.
